Setting limits allows you to feel safe within your relationship. By setting boundaries, you are supporting your own values emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Before jump into a relationship, you must have a healthy relationship with yourself first. This helps you to be more stable for potential relationship. The foundation for getting into a relationship is being settled with who you are.
Take self-care regularly, taking part in activities that make you feel good and relieve stress.
You have to know how to handle, and dish out, rejection in a mature way. In teenage years, you have to prepare your mind with the possibility of rejection. Your partner may find someone else they like, or you may lose interest in being in a relationship.
When rejected, it’s normal to feel sad or disappointed. Be nice to yourself after rejection.
